The countdown has begun to Pulse 2009! This our fourth year, will be the biggest and best event to date! From 500 people @ our first outdoor event in 2006 we have grown in numbers to just under 3000 people at last year’s massive show! For 2009 we return to Penmaenau, Builth Wells.

This year you will be treated to even more of the country’s finest DJ’s, a fantastic Light & lazer show, an even louder sound system, awesome stage & dancers, fantastic bar prices, Hot & cold food / drinks, FREE camping and a 3000 capacity arena featuring a progressive multicultural musical affair from Electro, Techno & Trance trough to Tech Dance, Hard Trance & Hardstyle that can not be rivaled.

Each set on this night will be indivdual & original, and every DJ has been hand selected to perform their style, that sets them apart from the rest, 10 different musical aspects! JTB & Chuck-E select the Cream of Welsh DJ’ing & Production talent, including Wales' no'1 tag team, and A list Hard Dance kings Cally & Juice, they will be joined by a very special guest, straight out of Gods Kitchen!

The UK’s number 1 European Hard Trance DJ & production team are welcome additions to the family! Chuck-E, being Wales’ no’1 Hard Trance DJ, & JTB being a half Welsh, Hard Trance producing legend, joined up in the summer of 2005! The monster club hit ‘Intolerance’ was born, and not so long after, this huge tune was the main inspiration for them to team up with Mars W, and become the proud owners of the ‘Intolerance Recordings’ imprint. A few years on, they have productions & remixes on labels in Spain, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, UK, Germany, & are signed to the scenes most prestigious label, ‘Future Sound Corporation’. They have rocked events including ‘Magic City’ (Australia) Defqon1 (Holland) Concept (Ireland) Sundance (Norway) & the UK’s, Bionic, Frantic, Sanctuary Festival & Westfest.

CALLY & JUICE Wales’ no1 tag team, and A-list Hard Dance Kings, ‘The Boyz’ have graced the wheels of steel every where from the United States, to Australia, Holland, Germany, and of course, at every major event in the UK, including Creamfields, Gods Kitchen, Escape in the Park & Gatecrasher! They are residents at Wales’ number 1 event, Bionic (run by Cally, & Brian M) , and Juice also promotes the ever popular Breathe events all over the country! Their production work can be found on many labels through out the scene, & they also find time to run ‘Ourstyle Recordings’ Vinyl, and Digital label. Whether it be Scratching their way through Drum & Bass, sending shivers down spines with electrifying Hard Trance, putting smiles on faces with awesome bootlegs & crowd pleasing tricks, or having the crowd ‘stomp it down’ to the most upfront Hardstyle, Cally & Juice are 100% guarantied to rock the crowd!

BRIAN M vs McBUNN The hardstyle for this evening will be dropped by none other than the Bionic resident team of Brian M & McBunn!! Bionic, as you will all know, is the countries leading Hard Dance event & is now respected on a global scale! Once of the scenes longest running, and favorite labels, Blutonium, in Germany, have showcased the duo’s production skills over the past couple of years, and this in turn, has seen them collect bookings all over Europe including, Zak club, Tunnel club (Both Germany) Defqon1 (Holland) Concept (Irealnd) & this year they can be found @ the ‘Tunel Electro City Festival’ in Poland, & @ ‘Future Club’ in Denmark! With Bionic, they continue to run arena’s @ Westfest, Sanctuary Festival, & Hardcore Weekender (UK) where they showcase their skills to their ever growing fan base.

DJ FRISKY Wales’ no’1 female DJ, Frisky is a resident @ 1 of our conjunctive operators, Breathe! Since signing to the UDJ’s agency, and aligning herself with Frantic, she has gone from strength to strength in the scene and rocked some of the UK’s biggest parties including, Bionic, Timeless, Hard House Academy, Sanctuary Festival, AwSum, Wesfest & Escape in the Park. Recently, she joined UK Hard Dance production team MDA & Spherical in the studio, to write material for Steve Hill’s ‘Masif’ label in Australia. International gigs have taken her to Ibiza, Germany, Holland & she also a regular in Ireland! Her sexy image, & original Hard Dance & Hardstyle sets, have seen her create a fantastic fan base, that is loyal around the country!

VANDALL Once of the planets most respected producers! Cardiff boy Vandall, is a master @ work! Be it, European Hard Trance, Tech Trance or his newly chosen field of Tech Dance, his immense production skillz have gained him global recognition, resulting in tours of Australia (with Scot Project) & New Zealand. He can also been found scratching his way over chunky techy beats @ events that include Bionic (Wales) Q-Base (Germany) & Defqon1 (Holland) & many events through out Ireland & Scotland. He continues to impress the scene with his production skills, & tonight will see him spin a tech dance set, full of his own work & remixes!

ROB DAVIES 1 of Wales' local DJ heroes, and a Hard House / Bounce perfectionist! Escapes very own Robbo is 1 of Wales most well known, & best talents! He can be found mixing chopping, and scratching his way through various crowd pleasing tunes @ events that include Polysexual, Bionic, Escape in the Park, and Escape Gets Filthy!!!!

MARS W EXCLUSIVE TRANCE CLASSIX REQUEST SET! Welsh mixing champion & Intolerance Recordings head honcho Mars W, is a West Wales’ DJ’ing legend!! He is 1 of our most requested DJ’s & his energetic trance & Hard Trance set’s have seen him become 1 of the most popular DJ’s in Wales! Recently, Mars has been @ Autobot studio’s with JTB & DJ Chuck-E, & also @ Trancewarez studio with Vandall, to write material that is forthcoming on the Intolerance imprint. ESTEE b2b LANIE Back by popular demad!! Estee has become one of the most popular Female DJ's in Wales. Spinning @ events including Bionic, Syndicate in Bristol, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen & Time Flies. She is all set to play Back 2 back once again with Lanie!! Lanie, has touched down @ events including Bionic, Audio Deprivation, Romper Stomper, & Atomic. At last years event they impressed everybody by rockin the Pulse massive hard, this year their return is met with open arms, as they deliver a dirty tech set!

VISHAUN vs SNATCH Merythr boys, Vishaun & Snatch are quickly becoming one of the area's most formidable forces and sought after partnerships! Having the capability to produce a variety of banging sets from Hardstyle, Tech Trance and electro, the duo continue to rise through the ranks, resulting in bookings @ Bionic, Sub Zero, and more. They will perform the ‘kick off set’ for us, playing some sexy electro grooves, and Chunky house beats!

SPECIAL GUEST: MARK ETESON!!!!!! (Godskitchen Resident) Mark Eteson is carving his own chunk out of the global dance scene. When someone with such ferocious musical talent (both behind the decks and in the studio), complete and utter enthusiasm and dedication to his art and a happy go lucky likeable personality comes along, you just know something very special is about to happen. With Godskitchen announcing Mark as their new resident back in March 2006, after he had consistently played stunning warm-up sets and final sets for them throughout the past year, it's a sign that this young mans talent is too great to be ignored.
